Understand the difference between a listing that is hidden, removed, under review or sold, and how to find the official explanation and next steps.
Identify the listing’s actual status
Open your Vinted wardrobe and the related inbox or notification. Look for wording that says hidden, removed, under review, reserved or sold. These states have different meanings for your inventory: a hidden listing may still represent stock you own, a draft is not published, a sold item is no longer available, and an under-review item may be waiting for a moderation decision. Do not count all of them as the same status in your own records.
Listel’s dashboard or inventory can only be as useful as its status definitions. Keep an internal status separate from Vinted’s public availability so you can record an item without implying it is currently buyable.
Read the notice before editing
If Vinted has hidden or removed a listing, open the official notice and read which rule or information it refers to. Check the item category, brand, photos, description and any authenticity or safety requirements. Do not repost the same listing to try to bypass a decision. If you believe moderation was mistaken, use the appeal route shown by Vinted and attach evidence relevant to the stated reason.
Keep a clear inventory record
Record the item code, listing URL or ID, date checked, Vinted status and any action you took. If the listing is hidden while you are away, it may still belong in your stock count even though it is not visible to buyers. If the item is sold, record the sale and remove it from available inventory. If it is a draft, keep it out of active published counts.
When status changes after a connection or sync, compare a few known listings in Vinted with the dashboard. Do not treat one total as reliable until the underlying item states match.
