Give each item an identity
Assign a stock code before you list. Record a shelf, box or bag location and keep the code with the listing in your own notes. Save the listing link so each record can be matched to its Vinted item. Avoid putting internal codes in buyer-facing text unless they help the buyer.
Track statuses separately
Use clear states such as intake, needs photos, ready to list, active, hidden, under review, sold and removed. A hidden or unpublished item is not available stock. Check your own records against Vinted after big batches and sales so counts do not drift.
Use your tools for the repetitive parts
Listel helps at three points: bulk upload turns photos into listings quickly, the analytics dashboard shows active listings, stock value and what is selling, and backup keeps a copy of your listings and photos. None of it replaces your own stock records, so keep those too.
Reconcile regularly
Work through stock by storage box or date and compare each physical item with its live listing: identity, photos, availability, duplicates. Mark sold items promptly and move them to dispatch.
