Improve Vinted listing copy with clearer titles, accurate descriptions and useful details while keeping claims truthful.
Answer the buyer’s likely question
Check whether the listing identifies the exact item, labelled size, fit, material, condition, measurements and any flaw. Add only what you can verify from the label, your own inspection or a measurement. If you do not know a detail, leave it out rather than filling the gap with a guess.
A useful refresh replaces vague phrases such as “nice top, good condition” with the item type, label size, relevant fit information and a specific note about visible wear.
Keep searchable details; remove noise
Retain accurate brand, model, size and item type. Put the most identifying information early in the title. Remove repeated keywords, unrelated brands, excessive punctuation and hashtags that do not describe the item. Search terms should help a person recognise the product, not make it appear to be something else.
Preserve the identity of the actual item. A copy change should not hide condition, invent scarcity or suggest a different product.
Review wording alongside photos
Use the first image to show the item clearly; later photos can show labels, fabric, marks and damage. Direct readers to a detail only if the photo shows it. Inspect the whole item before saying “no flaws”, and take measurements yourself rather than estimating from an image.
Before saving, verify title, category, brand, size, condition and every factual sentence. See how editing differs from relisting and the Vinted photo checklist.
