Why Listel uses an extension
The extension lets Listel act on Vinted from your own browser, using your own logged-in session and connection, rather than from a remote server. It is what publishes your listings, runs the relist queue and sends messages and offers.
Setting it up
- Open Google Chrome and log in to Vinted in a tab.
- Install the Listel extension using the link in Listel’s extension setup guide.
- Pair it with Listel by following the three steps in the guide, so it is linked to your Listel account and your Vinted account.
You can open the guide from Help & Support, and the Fix connection button there appears if something is not connected.
Check it is connected
The Help & Support page shows whether the extension is connected, whether a Vinted tab is open, and which Vinted account is linked. Check this first whenever something does not run.
If it shows as disconnected
- Make sure the Listel extension is switched on in chrome://extensions.
- Keep a Vinted tab open and logged in.
- After an extension update, reload the extension and refresh your Vinted and Listel tabs.
Keep the Vinted tab open
Publishing, relisting, messages and offers all run through your open Vinted tab, so leave it open until the progress card says it has finished.
Check Vinted’s current rules first
Vinted’s rules on automation and external software can change and can differ by account type, and a third-party tool does not give you permission to do something Vinted does not allow. Read Vinted’s current UK Terms and our plain-English summary before using any bulk workflow, and keep your activity at a level that is normal for your shop. No tool can guarantee that your account will not be restricted.
Next steps
Once connected, try the bulk upload walkthrough or the relist queue.
