Vinted’s 2026 terms: points UK sellers should check

Vinted’s current UK User Terms and Conditions state that this version applies from 8 October 2026. Here are practical sections to read if you list items, use seller software or run a resale business.

This is an informational summary, not legal advice. The linked Vinted terms are authoritative; wording can change.

Start with the official terms

Read the full Vinted UK User Terms and Conditions and the Catalogue Rules. This summary was checked on 13 October 2026 and is not a substitute for those documents.

1. Personal use and Pro selling

The terms describe standard account use as being for personal benefit, not professional purposes, except when buying as a Pro Seller. They also state that Pro accounts may be available alongside a standard account under separate account details. If you buy stock to resell or operate as a business, read the Vinted Pro terms and current UK eligibility requirements rather than assuming a standard account covers that activity.

2. External software and browser extensions

The terms say users must not use external software tools—including bots or scraping tools—unless that use is authorised, offered or otherwise allowed by Vinted. If you use a browser extension or seller tool, check whether the specific use is permitted. A tool’s existence or marketing claims do not establish Vinted’s approval.

3. Deleting and relisting

The terms say users must not delete and relist the same item multiple times or relist multiple items in bulk. If you are considering relisting to improve visibility, read that clause and the latest Catalogue Rules first. Listel cannot guarantee that a relisting action complies with Vinted’s rules.

4. Content and listing photos

The terms describe a licence covering user-uploaded content, including listing photos and descriptions, and refer to processing and use for service operation and AI or machine-learning development. Read the exact wording and any settings or opt-outs Vinted provides before uploading content if this matters to you.

5. Moderation and account actions

The terms say Vinted may take corrective action for activity that violates its terms or catalogue rules, including hiding or removing content, restricting features, or temporarily or permanently blocking an account. They also describe a process for notifying users and appealing certain decisions. See Vinted’s ban and appeal help page for current instructions.

What this summary does not claim

This page does not claim that every listed provision was newly added on 8 October, predict how Vinted will enforce a rule, or say that an account will be banned in a particular situation. Check the dated terms themselves and seek qualified advice for a dispute or legal question.
