How to Upload Photos to Vinted From Your Phone With a QR Code

The quickest way to photograph a pile of stock is with your phone, and the quickest way to list it is on a computer. Listel’s QR upload connects the two: scan a code, send your photos, and they appear in your Listel bulk upload ready to be turned into listings.

How phone photo upload works

  1. Open bulk upload in Listel on your computer. A QR code appears.
  2. Scan it with your phone camera. It opens a simple upload page, with no app to install and nothing to log into on the phone.
  3. Take photos with the camera, or choose existing photos from your gallery.
  4. Tap upload. Your photos are sent in the background, and a progress message shows how many have arrived.
  5. When the last photo has been sent, they all appear together on your computer, where Listel groups them into items and builds the listings.

Tips for fast, clean uploads

  • Photograph each item as a set (front, back, label, detail, flaw) and keep sets in order. It helps the grouping.
  • Use daylight or a bright, even light, and a plain background.
  • Photos are resized on your phone before they are sent, so large batches do not need a fast connection, though Wi-Fi is quicker than mobile data.
  • Keep the upload page open until it says the upload has finished.

Limits to know about

The QR link works for a limited time (about 20 minutes), so start a new one if it expires. Only photos go from the phone: you review and publish on your computer, because the Listel extension works in desktop Chrome alongside your Vinted tab.
