The 12 checks
- First photo. Is it clear, well lit and the best view of the item?
- All photos. Front, back, label, details and every flaw. Do they all show the same item?
- Title. Item type, verified brand, size or audience and a distinctive feature.
- Category. The closest accurate Vinted category, not a similar-sounding one.
- Brand. Read from the label. Choose “Unbranded” if there is none.
- Size. Copy the size on the label. For shoes, kids’ items and bedding, check you are using the right size list.
- Colour. Choose up to two colours that match what buyers see.
- Condition. Match Vinted’s options honestly. See the condition guide.
- Description. Facts, flaws and fit, with nothing you cannot verify.
- Measurements. Add them for clothing. See how to measure.
- Price. Based on similar sold items and your costs. See pricing.
- Postage. Is the parcel size right for the weight and size of the item?
Using the checklist with Listel

The mistakes that cost sales
The biggest ones are an unhelpful first photo, a wrong category or brand (which hides the item from filters), undisclosed flaws, which lead to disputes, and sizes copied from memory instead of the label.
